A Unique Approach To Residential Outpatient Addiction Treatment

If there is no single approach to addiction treatment that that will for every addict, then why do rehab facilities often work this way? At Maryland Recovery, our residential outpatient addiction program is a unique approach that offers a number of benefits to our clients.

Unique And Affordable Treatment Program Options

Our unique approach to drug and alcohol abuse treatment does not require our clients to make a choice between going to an inpatient or an outpatient program. Instead, we combine both treatment models in one program!

During a course of treatment, our clients are housed in one of eight residential houses. During the day, they attend therapeutic sessions at our outpatient facility and then return to their respective residential house. In this way, our clients are able to stay in an environment where they can focus their attention on getting well while having separate facilities for living and care.

We work with insurance providers to make this treatment program affordable to clients. With this outpatient setup, many insurance companies will pay for the continued care that clients need beyond an initial detox program or for longer than 30 days.

Three Phases Of Residential Outpatient Recovery Treatment Programs

We can offer treatment to clients who need primary care, or to those who have already graduated from an initial rehab program and are looking for extended care. Our treatment program model is an affordable solution that offers support during each phase:

Phase 1: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

During the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) held during the first 28 days of care, clients are housed in one of our residential houses. They attend primary care treatment sessions every day and individual counseling sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis.

Phase 2: Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) starts if it is clinically appropriate and is recommended by our clinical team. It includes continued outpatient care while living in a residential house. Our facilities are clean, fully furnished and comfortable. They are conveniently located close to the outpatient center, jobs, a number of stores, and locations for numerous NA and AA meetings held weekly.

Phase 3: Extended Care

Clients who complete the first two phases of treatment can start their extended care phase. They continue to be housed in one of our residential homes. During this time, the focus is on continuing to undergo therapy and to learn life skills that will be necessary for transitioning back into their life.
