What to Bring to Maryland Recovery

We want to make this process as seamless as possible, and a lot of clients question the items to bring to rehab. Below is a list of items you can and cannot bring to our facilities:

  • Alarm Clock
  • Social Security Card
  • Personal Toiletries
  • Rain Jacket or Umbrella
  • Seasonal Appropriate Clothing (for One Week)
  • Collared Shirts & Khaki Pants for Job
  • Bath Towel, Hand Towel, & Wash Cloth
  • Health Insurance or Rx Card (if Applicable)
  • Drivers License, Birth Certificate, or Passport
  • 30-day supply of Current Medications or Prescriptions
  • Laundry Basket or Hamper
  • Bed linens for a Twin Bed (Sheets, Pillowcase, Pillow & Comforter)

Banned Items

We understand triggers, cross addiction, and distractions versus what’s really important, so the
following items are not allowed:

  • Cell Phones
  • Computers (Laptops & Tablets)
  • Electronic Devices That Access Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G Services (iPod™ Touch, Video Games, & Book Readers)
  • Automobiles
  • Credit, Debit, & Gift Cards
