Maryland Recovery Addiction Treatment Programs

Woman Looking Into Distance

Maryland Recovery has been offering comprehensive, caring and professional addiction treatment and mental health services to individuals in need of care since 1996.

We are a licensed, Joint Commission-accredited alcohol and substance abuse treatment provider. We’re here to expertly guide recovering individuals with substance use disorders toward long-term sobriety, no matter where they are in their journey.

We’re also happy to accommodate individuals who have special insurance needs or who are looking for more affordable care, particularly for cash pay.

Individualized Addiction Treatment with Sober Living

While in treatment, clients stay in homes with our sober housing partner, ECHO Hartford. Typically clients will undergo a custom program that includes: Detox, Medication Assistance, PHP and IOP services.

Ideally, patients will stay in treatment at Maryland Recovery for anywhere between 28 and 90 days, whether they go through both PHP and IOP, or just outpatient treatment. We have no doubt that a longer period of supported care leads to better results in recovery; research and our own experiences show this to be true.

You can learn more about the advantages of extended addiction treatment by clicking below. Please note, however, that we are currently NOT able to offer mental health services. However, we have plans to bring these services back in-house by the end of Summer 2021. In the meantime we coordinate with other service providers in the community when mental health services are needed.

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed with the individual in mind. Long-Term Addiction Recovery*

During our 90-day program, clients will gradually step down in levels of care as the primary therapist and clinical team see they have demonstrated knowledge of the tools and techniques needed for sobriety. Once all levels of care have been completed, clients are encouraged to continue working with their primary counselor on an individualized long-term recovery plan.

*Please note that we currently do not offer extended care services. However, we hope to bring them back soon. Please contact us for more information.
